It is important to be versatile as a make-up artist – there is a style in someone's work that defines it. My style is clean & polished; I love to play with colour and texture; creating my own colour palettes so as not to be confined by products and their pre-defined colour range.
I have been working as a make-up artist since 2001 for clients in a wide range of creative industries including fashion, hair & beauty, commercial products, live performance and editorial. With many National and International Clients I have a great working knowledge and relationships within many commercial sectors.
My experience as an airbrushing artist has set the quality of my work above many other make-up artists. My airbrushing techniques are constantly developing along with the advances in high definition technology, setting new standards in my work.
I am currently working with Habia UK as part of the team leading the development of the National Occupational Standards for make-up qualifications for the United Kingdom. Working with Habia Japan I have delivered seminars at the London College of Fashion as part of the international Skills team.
I am constantly expanding my skills and knowledge – evolving my techniques and practices.
I thrive on the energy of the industry and love every part of the adventure.
